This morning we started term 2 of school with a immersion assembly. We got to finally find out out the theme for this term after such a long holiday. Once I got to my seat, I looked ahead and saw the projecter with the words “Beyond the Sky.” I had a feeling that these words described that we would learn about all the plants we have in the solar system.
Once the first video started playing Mr Burt was wearing a space costume acting like a astronaut with his grandaughter. I had a feeling I was correct. I didn’t want to learn about plants beacause it seemed boring to me. Team 1’s short video was all about how in different parts of the world the time zones are different. Ms Lal and Ms Hockly were in boiling hot wheather while Ms Shirley was in freezing cold weather.
Team 2 was showing how they used our magical school bus to fly around the solar system and take a look at the plants. They all had great questions about each planet. Team 3 made a rap that rymed with words sun moon and earth and they sung it on stage. Team 4 was in a space ship and they floated around all the plantes and described all of the planets descriptivly. Team 5 made a song about all the plants using the song “Love.” It was about the loveeee they have for the sun.
My favourtie one was either team 5 or team 4 because there songs they made was really well writen.
