Inquiry Song!

Task Description: This term we have been learning to create a song with our favorite genre and taste of music. Everyone got into groups of pairs 3’s or by themself. I was in a group with Nikayla, Khaing Shwe, and myself. Our genre was sort of like a soft smooth beat and lyrics. We started writing our lyrics first which I didn’t really liked because it didn’t really fit well with any of the beats but we found a good one in the end. After writing the lyrics we recorded all of lines one by one and we finished it all in one block of the day. It was hard to record because we weren’t sure about how we could sing the song to match with the beat. After recording we put it all together on a google video and we added a smooth chill beat in the end. Do you know what he is saying in Thai? I had so much fun working on this my favourite part was recording because we got to sing togther. Remember to leave a positive comment on my blog! Tyy and Bye!

Whakatauki

Task Description: For term 1 of extension we chose one whakatauki that we wanted to show as a animation on photopea. Mine “When we stand alone we are vulnerable but togther we are unbreakable.” I tried my best to show this whakatauki as a animation. I hope you enjoy watching it. Immersion Assembly

This morning we started term 2 of school with a immersion assembly. We got to finally find out out the theme for this term after such a long holiday. Once I got to my seat, I looked ahead and saw the projecter with the words “Beyond the Sky.” I had a feeling that these words described that we would learn about all the plants we have in the solar system.

Once the first video started playing Mr Burt was wearing a space costume acting like a astronaut with his grandaughter. I had a feeling I was correct. I didn’t want to learn about plants beacause it seemed boring to me. Team 1’s short video was all about how in different parts of the world the time zones are  different. Ms Lal and Ms Hockly were in boiling hot wheather while Ms Shirley was in freezing cold weather.

Team 2 was showing how they used our magical school bus to fly around the solar system and take a look at the plants. They all had great questions about each planet. Team 3 made a rap that rymed with words sun moon and earth and they sung it on stage. Team 4 was in a space ship and they floated around all the plantes and described all of the planets descriptivly. Team 5 made a song about all the plants using the song “Love.” It was about the loveeee they have for the sun.

My favourtie one was either team 5 or team 4 because there songs they made was really well writen.
