In the holidays, my family and friends went on a camping adventure in another city to enjoy the summer.
First my friends took my siblings and I to play on the jumping pillow. When I saw my friends jumping on it I was really terrified because I thought I was gonna slip off. The jumping pillow was very dirty and wet so I had more of a chance to slip off. Later on I was confident enough to jump really high luckily I landed in a safe place.
Next when I went to the beach it was a very long walk. The floor was really hot and what was even worse was I had no shoes or else they would get really wet and sandy. When I arrived at the beach I saw huge waves. When I went to the waves it went right past me and I felt like I was moving backwards but I was just standing still. Later on we had to leave.
Afterwards my friends and family all went to the playground. Once we arrived I firstly went on the slide. After I went to the slide I went to the swing to swing for a little while and then I noticed a little toy. Once I went for a closer look I picked it up and saw it was a minion. It was very cute so I thought my friend would like it but when I gave it to her she just threw it away. After a little while at the park we left to go shower for the day.
Finally we went back to our camping area with my siblings and friends to play volleyball. Once we arrived at the volleyball net we split up into two teams. The teams were not very even but it was so fun to play. We played for a couple of rounds of 1 vs 1 and it was so fun and entertaining to do for the rest of the day. It started to get really dark so we left to go to bed.
My favourite part was the jumping pillow because it was bouncy and fun. I had the best summer holiday with my friends and family.
Hello my name is Yi Yi and I am a year 6 at Pt England school. This year my teacher is Miss Parrant and I am in room 7. I like to draw if I have any time to. I enjoy playing volleyball outside if it’s not too sunny. My favourite subject at school is art because I think I’m kinda good at it. My favourite sport is volleyball because I don’t really like other types of sports. On the weekends I play volleyball outside. I am 10 years old and I am turning 11 this year. This morning on the 17th of october we were going to do the marshmallow challenge. The challenge is to make the tallest tower out of marshmallows and spaghetti and it needs to be able to hold by itself. Ms parrant told us to go talk about what we’re going to do in our groups. In my group is Nadi and Aie sorn once we were done talking we went back down on the mat Ms Parrant said that “you will have 12 minutes to build a tower that can stand by itself” so when the time started we made our tower my group decided to make a five leg scarecrow with a triangle on top. I felt like our group did the best because it was tall and stable enough. Even Ms Parrant said we could win because it was stable and tall. After the challenge Ms Parrant said to clean up or mess and put everything in the bin then Ms Parrant said she doesn’t know who won but she said probably my group won.

Task Description: These are my poems the first sentence is 5 syllables and the seconed is 7 and last is 5 again. I hope I used the right words for my poems.
On a saturday morning me and my family went to Japan. What I did was go to a food store to eat at and then I would go to a shop to buy some cute stuff that’s there. Then we would go to get a hotel room to stay at and I would like our hotel room to be really big and to be kawaii themed. The next day we would go to eat breakfast at a Convenience store. I would get spicy noodles, a corn dog and a marble drink. After we’re done eating we went to a store where there was clothes, toys and food and yeah it’s just like a mall. First we went to a toy shop there was so much cute stuff there and once I looked around I found a blak doll it’s a type a doll that comes in a package that has a body a head different eyes and hair, clothes but there is just one important thing it’s like so expensive it’s like for 800$ that’s expensive but I get it because it’s such a cute doll. It was to expensive so I didn’t buy it but instead I found cute sanrio clips there was three in each packet so I bought 4 packs because it was really cheap it was just for like 2$ each my big sister bought a t-shirt that had a anime girl on it and my twin bought a gummy bear bracelet and earrings. Later we went to a restaurant to have dinner. I had spicy noodles and it was so yummy right after we were done eating my big sister put on the shirt she bought and then we drove to the beach to see the sunset. We took some pictures and then we went back home and we slept. The next day we drove to the airport to go back to New Zealand. That was it for my vacation.
On a windy Friday afternoon at Pt England School team 4 and team 5 went to the school hall for a Duffy assembly. Duffy had to share his room for a day. Duffy didn’t like Stuffy because she would sneeze right in front of him. When they were about to sleep they made a blanket fort for them to sleep in for the night. Duffy found a wormhole without telling Stuffy. Duffy went inside the wormhole and he met Duff-Zip and Stuff-Zip. Duff-Zip was holding a rock that can translate your words to english. Duff-Zip and Stuff-Zip were helping Duffy find his way back home. They kept entering wormholes until they found a wormhole with a person that looked like the galaxy. He was sticking up his babies. Duffy tried touching one and it peed on him. Duffy found a trail of her books and she found the right wormhole. Duffy jumped into it while saying bye to them. Finally Duffy went back to her bedroom and went back to sleep. The show was great. I felt happy because it was great. We returned back to class to go home.
